K-3 School Programs

The Community Services Unit teaches kindergartners that police officers are their friend, and all the good things a Police Officer really does. Building community trust is a primary goal of the Community Services Unit
 

The Community Services Unit teaches first graders about the 9-1-1 system and how to make emergency 9-1-1 calls.

Children use this phone to simulate 9-1-1 emergency calls. They also learn what to do when they dial 9-1-1 by mistake. The Community Services Unit teaches kindergartners that police officers are their friend, and all the good things a Police Officer really does.
